Betrayals by those who should protect us...

Sickening, saddening...

Police Chief Admits to Raping Unconscious Woman, …: http://youtu.be/skEcYf3LF_E

1. The following is a detailing of various thoughts & feelings one may have
whilst being raped, & in the immediate & lifelong aftermath:

-Stomach-churning fear, pain, shock, &
   disbelief/amazement
- Fear of catching a potentially lethal std,
   becoming pregnant, & or sustaining
enough bodily injury to require medical
intervention, &/or to prevent any Future
   sexual activity/procreation.
-Co-mingled with these feelings: Guilt/
   shame/filth, as most females are
taught (from a young age) to
   immediately integrate & internalise
   shame & self-causation when
   ANYTHING untoward occurs - moreso
when it's (perceived to be) of a sexual
nature. *Especially* in the case of a
   violent & unwarranted attack, despite
the *crime* of *RAPE* being a *Crime of
   Hatred*; unprovokable *Violence*;
   taking of another's power; imposing,
   shaming, terrorising, & bullying
   someone who's perceived to
be weaker physically, and/or felt to be
   less important - even representative
(a *surrogate*) of a player in life of the
Rapist. A player whose likely already
   shouldering 'blame' - knowingly or
   otherwise/least in the rapist's mind -
   for a *sin/transgression/betrayal/slight/
hurt* (real/imagined) against the rapist.-Lest we forget, the rapist is imparting a
   "gift" - A haunting, life-altering memory
that lasts a lifetime. This legacy may
    cause permanent fear, distrust,
    suicidal/self-destructive ideation,
neurological damage, & even PTSD -
    a thus-far incurable condition that's
    very often disabling, & extremely
damaging to the rape victim &
     the victim's loved ones.

2. The following is a detailing of various thoughts & feelings one may have
whilst being raped, & in the immediate & lifelong aftermath if one is raped whilst barely conscious:

-Every one of the above thoughts, fears, &
emotions, PLUS the pure terror of being
even More helpless (opposed to the
perceived illusion of some sort of power
one can maintain sometimes if alert).

3. The following is a detailing of various thoughts & feelings one may have
whilst being raped, & in the immediate & lifelong aftermath if one is raped whilst barely conscious, *&* the Rapist is the Chief of Police (aka. the *"boss"* of the *very* people one would immediately contact for assistance, justice, soloutions, etc. if one were to be raped,  assaulted or violated):

-All of the above feelings *PLUS* - a
   mind bogglingly, panicky, & surrealistic
   sense of "sanity's-a-distant-
   memory", coupled with a white-hot-
   electric "Oh-No-I-Fear-That-God's-
   Died!" revelation of sorts.
-This is an *¡OFFICER!* so who'll help (&
believe{?} me) now? Will the other cops
   intentionally HINDER a Victim
(that they've previously vowed to pro-
tect) in order to continue on with
   their *well-known* (& understandably
beneficial to the force; not least of all
   whilst working in a dangerous,
   secretive, & trust-based situation)
  *Tradition* of *"Fraternal Solidarity"*?
-This is their Chief, Commanding Officer,
& BOSS. IF the charges can't be
substantiated in court & the Chief's
neither brought to trial nor found guilty,
it's not much of a stretch to imagine
that any officers who did so bravely
side with the victim would now see the
end of their careers. Will this Chief
  (turned-Kidnapper & Attacker) KILL
after the attack so that he can save his
  *OWN* family, career, & reputation?

4. The following is a detailing of various thoughts & feelings one may have
whilst being raped, & in the immediate & lifelong aftermath if one is raped whilst barely conscious, *&* the Rapist is the Chief of Police (aka. the *"boss"* of the *very* people one would immediately contact for assistance, justice, soloutions, etc. if one were to be raped,  assaulted or violated) & He admits it after the act when he's finally caught:

-No! Society has ceased to care. He's received a slap on the wrist in exchange for destroying a life (potentially more - he was only Caught for 1 Rape). I'm never going to receive justice, validation, or even a remote assuaging of pain... The physical violation is nothing compared to the grief felt for the loss of a naive belief in the relative sanctity of Police & Justice as protectors. The experience has created an intense questioning, distrust, & an anger towards authority that may never be gone. One that many who hear of this will share.

NOW imagine that if - instead of being raped as a female, this was a CHRONIC case of the Disenfranchising of an entire ethnic group - imagine it's so globally pervasive that it's caused a sort of hopeless self-hatred amongst many in the group themselves. Imagine, too, that one if this ethnic group became President, so suddenly many unfortunately simplistic & occasionally angry & fearful little people decided that this 1 President has ended ALL oppressions, so that every time an ethnically-based oppression occurs, it's negated & unpunished...

Abuse of power by those in which we empower & place in them a GREAT deal of our trust & safety is FAR more sickening than an average betrayal.
This is also why the horror of Cops who specifically target Young Black Men is so incredibly disheartening, & I imagine many of the above feelings of violation must accompany the ones felt by the Black Community, & the actual NON-racist community at Large, EVERY TIME that it's brought to our attention that yet Another unarmed Young Black Man is killed & THEN their killer is unpunished.

Ie.
The Murder of Mr. Brown, 18-y.o.,Summer 2014, by Officer Wilson - untried;

The Murder of 17-y.o. Mr. Martin last year by G. Zimmermann - wanna-be cop, historically violent & racist, & "community watch/racist busybody - tried & G. Z. was unpunished;

The Murder from just this past Saturday of that little 12-y.o. Boy playing in a park with a TOY gun (a toy Many kids own). He was gunned down - he Just died today after hanging on for 5 days - by an Officer.

There are far too many to detail... :'(

Another Police Violation which shouldn't occur, doesn't NEED to occur, & violates EVERYONE, is exemplified in the link I've posted below - a link which may lead the viewer to fear that previously benevolent Canada is becoming uncomfortably close to a police-state situation as well. The Following occurs during the G2O Summit in Toronto, ONTARIO, CANADA (Summer 2012, I think, but I can't recall at the moment).

It was a result of anticipatory tension which results from the sort of fear-mongering practiced by "The Man" - the Old Guard of Rich, White Men. Men who lived in an era of entitlement, & aren't very happy about the breaking down of useless "castes", barriers, & roles. They fear change immensely, & will do anything in their power to conserve the old ways - even if it comes down to lying, inciting violence, & using people as pawns by deliberately sending in ill-prepared officers freshly pumped full of pre-conceived notions re: the intentions of the average protester, their reasons, & the actual questioning of everyone's guaranteed Right to peaceful protest - a right supposedly afforded to us all but repeatedly hindered by those in charge - by THE MAN doing all *he* can to discourage awareness & protesting - *he* seems to have a lot to hide to go to this extent, as it stems from a fear that it's potentially going to be SUCCESSFUL unless it's corrupted & violently denied.

If only people had such strong feelings about helping the homeless...wasted effort

people who care greatly about animals usually care about other things too - like feeding the homeless.

I don't see a PETA for the homeless, though, nor near as gigantic a PR campaign for the homeless as for, say, gay people, who number much less than the amount of starving Americans living on the street today.

I mean, I get it, homelessness isn't something sexy that one could brag about over Facebook to some shallow friends, but I'm just sitting here wondering when our priorities got so royally fucked up that they'll march by the millions for "green" or "queer," but not "starving to death."

+Sm0k4bl3 said to +yuptydoo :

Why would humans have priority over other animals.
I mean it's sad that people are homeless but in my country it's more their fault for being drug/alcohol or gambling addicts that live on the street because they can't handle money.

I'd rather care for a helpless animal than I'd do for a human.
Besides, humans are the main reason for the suffering of animals around the world.

"but in my country it's more their fault for being drug/alcohol or gambling addicts that live on the street because they can't handle money."

That means it's actually society's fault for letting financially incompetent people like that slip through the cracks; are you saying that if they were never raised to be fiscally responsible (as a member of a poor family, etc.) they automatically earn a fate in which they'll never even HANDLE money again? Also, even in countries like America where homelessness is the fault of low incomes and high living expenses as opposed to simply socially irresponsible individuals, there is the same lack of interest in the plight of the homeless, many of whom are young children.

"I'd rather care for a helpless animal than I'd do for a human."

That is absolutely where we start to differ; I'd much rather feed and clothe a baby human than a dog, pigeon or lizard.

"Besides, humans are the main reason for the suffering of animals around the world."

However, since animals adhere to the law of the jungle, you have no right to consider our treatment of any animals as evolutionary unfair: we are simply the biggest, baddest new species around, so any species consumed by our communal and utilitarian superiority is simply a victim of natural selection...and that's according to science.

That's probably because 1/2 of the humans on earth are effing pieces of sh#t, & they are more often the ones with more money & power.
Many stupid rotten jagoffs view homelessness as a result of "lifestyle choice" (ie. the same mindset of those who engage in "shaming" attitudes). They refuse to see that sometimes sh%t happens & screws up your life & there's not too damn much you can do.

That's why there's no "PETA" for the homeless.

As someone who cares VERY deeply for ALL of the oppressed (humans & animals), I spend a great deal of time writing to leaders, starting & signing petitions, volunteering for Amnesty International, United Way, arranging protests, etc... to educate everyone I can about the plights faced by far too many disenfranchised.
I am pretty broke cos I'm going through some health stuff, so I'm unable to do more or I would.

Everyone I've ever personally met who cares deeply about animals does so because they are sickened by a world which preys upon the weak, helpless, needy, etc... That's why these people I speak of aren't
either/or with their compassion.
People who truly care are usually gonna care about more than one thing.
A PETA for the Homeless, however? FANTASTIC IDEA - If you'd like to brainstorm about making it happen ourselves, contact me through G+, k?

Peace <3

1. Addiction is a disease. An occasionally winnable disease, but still, a disease.
If you've never suffered from something that was nearly impossible to overcome, I personally feel you shouldn't judge.

2. Re: America's Homeless Population - They're MOST often vets with PTSD. The US supporting their troops with bumper stickers? It neither feeds nor helps anyone.

Sometimes they're people with either drug-resistant mental illness, or they simply can't afford the meds at all (The US is notorious for allowing Pharmaceuticals to set prices in a 100% unregulated fashion - this is unconstitutional, but no one notices cos they're too busy fighting over red herrings).

Sometimes they're kids who were forced to leave home due to coming out as gay in a hate-filled home, or left as a last resort due to unchecked physical/sexual/emotional abuses (1 in 4 f. & 1 in 10 m. report having been sexually assaulted/raped/molested - doesn't include those who say nothing due to fear, shame, or because the abuser is "well-liked/respected").

Sometimes they're victims of the RAMPANT Sex Trafficking Rings that occur not ONLY in places that appear too exotic & "scary" to many Americans, but found Right Smack Dab In the USA. Kids (65% F., 35% M.) are kidnapped, lured through fake jobs/youth groups/trusted affiliates, etc. Then they're doped up (forcibly addicted) repeatedly raped, exploited, beaten, tortured, brainwashed, videotaped, coerced, & blackmailed into subservience, & kept as chattel - their customers (aka Rapists) are frequently & Most Often found to be affluent, respected, wholesome & righteous sorts.

Some people are homeless because they lost everything due to unforseen financial/legal/situational circumstances (ie. Tornado, Life-threatening illness & hospital stay of either themselves or a loved one, Fire, Robbery, being stalked & having to relocate, suffering from a sudden onset mental illness, job loss, being swindled/id theft, & even loopholes in insurance plans that have left them bereft & impoverished). If one is struck with an illness - out of the BLUE - and can no longer work, & disability is only about 800/mo. in the US, PLEASE explain how one survives on that amount.

Some people become homeless after a spouse leaves & takes everything, cleans out the accounts, & the remaining spouse can't find a job that pays enough to stay in the home. They keep downsizing, but eventually find that they can't make ends meet. They move into the vehicle, & that's an almost impossible situation to escape.

Do Not Judge.

*EVER*
